A total body workout is one of the best ways to stay healthy and fit as we age. Lifting heavy weight will eventually prove to be injurious. Use light hand weights 2-5lbs and target all muscle groups in a non-stop cardiovascular work out.
What do people have to do to become healthy?
Exercising is only half the formula to staying healthy. Healthy eating and proper sleep consist of the other 50%. Consuming 5-6 small meals throughout the day is best for your metabolism. Be careful not to over eat.
What is your history in the industry?
I have been involved in martial arts and fitness nearly my entire life. Conditioning for competitions is and still is a big part of my life. I have created and produced three fitness DVDS, train celebrities, doctors, pharmacist, nurses, MTV and Fox ad executives
Can you tell us about targeting specific muscle groups?
Weather your training for a specific sport or looking to strengthen muscle groups to prevent job related injuries it all starts with the core. Isolating the core muscles, abdominal muscles is paramount to having ality and building strength evenly. All muscles in the body work together. Example, a body builder is looking to have a well rounded physique and will target different muscle groups on different days to try to keep his or her physique even. A swimmers body is an example of over developed back muscles comparative to the rest of the body
Can you help a client loose weight fast, if so how?
One of the fasted and safest ways to lose weight fast is to eliminate most carbohydrates from your diet. Making sure your protein intake is enough to prevent muscle wasting. Combine this with one hour of Talastetics(Body Weight Exercises)a day 3-4 time per week. Fast repetitive movements create the most heat and burn more calories.
