Online advertising trends are growing
United States - All
Online advertising trends are growing, this comes from a report given by ZenithOptimedia in a Conference that took place in New York. Spending contributions to online advertising have grown over 2011 and 2012, and are expected to continue till 2015. The increases are huge in terms of expenditure, and see growth from 4.1 percent in 2013 to 5.6 percent in 2015.The Golden age of online advertising
This seems to be the golden age of online advertising with most businesses large and small investing large amounts of resources and money into online advertising
. Globally the online advertising industry will be worth just under 600 billion by 2015 - this is due to the expected minor growth in the Asian markets, and modest growth in North America, Europe and Australasia contributing to more ad spending by these markets.Newspaper spending in decline
With the growth of smartphones and tablets, and the web world, the biggest loser seems to have been newspapers, newspaper spending is shrinking about 2 percent annually - dont get me wrong there it is still larger than online advertising but this should change over time as more and more consumers move online, there are many newspapers closing all across the United States for this very reason. 2013: The year of the Snake.
Ancient Chinese wisdom tell us the Snake is good luck, it is intuitive and refined and if you find one in your house it means that your family will not starve, this is certainly true if you have a strong web presence - and you are able to target your advertising campaigns to the masses both young and old, 2013 is also the year that will see the tipping point where online advertising will surpass TV and newspaper advertising.
