South Africa - Blythedale Beach
There are 9 units located on Blythedale Beach on the Dolphin Coast 30km North of Ballito. These units are self-contained and have all the necessary amenities for self-catering holidays for a group of up to 7 people per three bedroom unit.
There are 3, 2 and 1 bedroom units. All but the one bedroom units have lock-up garages. All are sea facing with partial sea views except the one bedroom units.
All units have a DStv decoder with limited channels, for full viewing bring own smart card. The kitchen is fully fitted and has a stove, fridge, microwave. The kitchen/lounge/dining room areas are open-plan and flow out into a private front patio.
There is a private gate to the beach and of course the swimming beach is just a few meters away.
Blythedale Beach: Forest walks can be made from the back door, through the natural coastal dune forest, behind and north of Blythedale, for those who relish the opportunity to immerse themselves in these natural surroundings, to view the bird life and other flora and fauna of the coast, excellent bird-watching at the Umvoti River Mouth Lagoon some 3km to the South or at the Nonoti River Mouth 4km to North can be done on foot.
There is also a convenience store, within walking distance of the complex. A large selection of supermarkets and other stores are to be found at Stanger some 7km inland, or at Ballito 30km to the South. Gateway, the largest shopping complex in the Southern Hemisphere, lies outside Umhlanga Rocks, a further 30km to the South on the N2.

For this reason we require you to bring your own towels as well as Dstv decoder and smartcard if you require more than the limited channels (South African free channels).
Always check before you book in at a resort or hotel to see if you need to pay cash or if they have card facilities, as well as exactly what to take with on your holiday.

Channel Rocks caters for singles, couples, families, retired people, and basically anyone you can mention.
No parties or loud music are allowed since we aim to create a relaxed atmosphere for people to get away from the city and just enjoy the silence along the coast.

Own towels - bath and swimming towels.
Their own dish wash liquid and dishcloths.
Dstv smartcard and decoder for more than SABC and eTV.
We provide cutlery, sheets, duvets and pillows.
