How is the current property market in your opionion?
Absolutely awesome! We have many thousands of listings! Our company, Caldan Homes, is registered under RNS, the Residential Network System, and this is where over 110 Real Estate Agencies are listed, with over 1000 agents, and they all load their listings on the RNS system, which is available to all RNS-agents. We have a pretty good look at the property market on a day to day basis, and it is great!
What adivce do you have to first time buyers?
First time buyers should try to buy townhouses, or other properties, in excellent condition, for the cheapest possible price! A good start would be to try and find a good bank-repossessed property, as they are cheap and probably in good condition! These houses can use a simple upgrade or two, and be sold for much more! First time buyers should buy instead of renting, as soon as possible, to get real value for money.
Do you have any good adivce about the industry?
The property market industry is a very exciting area to be involved in! If the money market (stock market) is too much of a challenge, then property investments are an equal, but much easier to do, opportunity! It is the one place where you can make your money work for you. You can buy properties, fix them up, sell them for a little more, and continue in such a journey until you are financially independent! Or, you can buy properties and rent them out, to enable yourself to receive money that you didnt have to work for!
What are some benefits to owning a property?
There are many benefits to owning a property! The first is, you didnt waste any money on renting. You bought a property, which makes it yours! In other words, you still own the money you spent on it! These properties can be fixed up, or improved, and then sold for more money! Or it could be rented out to people who prefer to rent, and this allows you to receive a constant salary or extra income!
Can you describe the steps to buying a house?
Of course I can describe the steps in buying a house! First, an agent should be contacted, who can help you with advertising your house. After they have valuated the house, and advertised it, they will arrange for an open-hour, to show the house to other agents. Then many agents will work together to sell the house, which would increase the odds of selling the house. Then, these agents will arrange on-show dates, for interested public individuals to view the house, and to provide an offer to purchase , which is a proposed value that each client votes to pay for the house. Then the seller would choose the highest offer in the bunch, and ask the agent to proceed in selling the house. Here is where the bank is contacted, and asked to provide a bond-loan to the buyer, and if it is approved, the house is sold. The agents and attorneys will finalize the paperwork, and be paid a commission. The process is exactly the same for private sellers. They just get to do the exciting work that the agent is supposed to do, too!
