What skills are in demand worldwide?
As CPMDs programmes are often need driven, programmes are specifically designed in line with learners requirements. Feedback from learners is always considered and used to amend programmes to make them more suitable for future learners. We are aiming at bridging the gap in the shortage of the following skills:Financial management,accounting ,Property management,Project management,Computer skills and
Marketing and soft skills.Additional tuition: such as writing skills, may be offered to assist an individual or group of learners who do not have such skills, to aid them in successfully completing the other programmes they have registered for and/or to assist them in their advancement in the workplace. As a specialist is often called in for this type of tuition, an additional fee is usually charged.
Any advice for somebody wanting to study?
We have a number of years of experience in the training and education field as well as in the area of consulting. We have a team of lecturers and facilitators who are credible We have a team of lecturers and facilitators who are credible and have extensive experience in adult education,
course development and course delivery, particularly in the public sector.CPMD also has the appropriate infrastructural capacity and appropriate technical skills to complete the work in accordance with each clients requirements.
Do you need a degree in your field?
Not necessarily.Recognition of Prior Learning is also considered in my field.Certain course content can be adapted to cater for illiterate or semi-literate learners. Likewise, in some instances deaf or blind learners may also be accommodated, providing the adaptation is physically possible and financially viable for the college.
Is this recognized worldwide or locally, if so with who?
Our training is currently recognized locally with the college running from its offices in Norwood, Johannesburg. Programmes are conducted around the country in-house at a preferred venue or at CPMDs training venue.
What options are available to students?
We pride ourselves in our ability to develop training that is customized to meet the clients requirements, particularly in the fields of property, project and financial management, and consumer education.We offer weekly classes,evening as well as Saturday classes to accommodate our employed students as well.
