Miami Car Accident Clinics - Miami Car Accident Clinics specializes in taking care of patients that had suffered injuries due to a car accident. We will examine the patient and prescribed physical therapy as well as diagnostic testing, such as X-rays, MRI, NCVs and VNGs. The patient will also be refer to the right specialist depending on their injuries and testing results. Transportation is available since some of our patient do not have a vehicle due to their accident. Our office is fully bilingual and we are passionate about getting our patients out of pain.
How long have you been practicing?
Dr. Castillo has been taking care of car accident patients in Miami for 12 years. She worked for small, medium and large medical facilities, giving her a different prospective on the treatment of patients injured due to a car accident. She recently opened her private practice and is excited to bring her knowledge and experience to her patients.
What information do patients need to know?
The state of Florida is a no fault State, this means that whether you are innocent or at fault in a car accident, you can received medical care through your car insurance. It is important to know that you have only up to 14 days to seek medical care in order for your insurance to cover your medical bills.
What are your fees?
We collect payment from car insurance companies. Many of our patients have attorneys and they will be able to cover any deductibles that the patient may have. We also work with Letter of Protection when the patient has not seek care within the 14 days after their car accident.
Do you need any type of health insurance?
No, your medical bills will be cover by your car insurance. Some example of insurance we work with are: Geico, State Farm, Progressive, Infinitive, USAA, United Automobile, Farmers, Windhaven and Imperial. Not all doctors would accept car accident patients.
What kinds of jobs do you take on?
Dr. Castillo will examine the patient, prescribed diagnostic studies such as X-rays, MRIs, NCVs and therapy sessions. Dr. Castillo will tailor patients therapy sessions to their injuries by the use of different physical therapy modalities. She will re- examine the patient as needed.
